Smartwatches can save lives. It certainly did the trick for my colleague, Nirave Gondhia, who detailed his journey of having a heart attack at the age of 33, and how the Apple Watch helped him on a path of recovery, even with emergency needs. Unfortunately, not every adopter is using smartwatches the way they are intended to assist. As per a survey by the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center only a quarter of Americans who use a smartwatch for health tracking share the wearable data with their doctor. “If patients are monitoring their blood pressure at home and notice…

It’s no secret that Apple’s entry into the AR/VR segment didn’t quite stir the product revolution that the company may have expected. A cumbersome build married to a sky-high asking price for the Vision Pro headset were some of the key woes, but the company has not given up on its dreams. Hackers are spreading a dangerous malware called Lumma Stealer by tricking you into clicking on a link in a fake Reddit thread that supposedly solves a problem, as Bleeping Computer reports. After clicking the link, the victims are transferred to a fake WeTransfer site similar to the transfer site’s interface. Sekoia Researcher crep1x found the total number of distributed sites and even shared a complete list of the participating ones. The sites are nearly 1,000: 529 impersonate Reedit, and 407 pretend to be the official WeTransfer service site. The fake Reddit or WeTransfer site uses a combination of random numbers…

Stargate is a partnership between OpenAI, Oracle, and SoftBank Group, which promises to build a slew of new data centers to drive artificial intelligence applications.  The growth in cloud computing and AI in recent years has sent developers and tech companies scurrying to secure power.
